American Idol Contestant Hannah Prestridge Discusses Hydrocodone Addiction

American Idol Contestant Hannah Prestridge Discusses Hydrocodone Addiction

American Idol premiered this past Sunday night and one contestant named Hannah Prestridge auditioned with her husband, Curt Jones.

The duo known as Treble Soul auditioned together, but it was Hannah who received a “yes” from all the judges and earned the famous golden ticket to Hollywood.

They shared their love journey and how Hannah Prestridge’s addiction came about. When Curt and Hannah got together, they became pregnant with their first child after three months. During that time, Hannah discovered she had an issue with her kidney that would be a huge risk for her and her daughter, so Hannah’s doctor prescribed her hydrocodone. Prestridge’s addiction to hydrocodone started and things were getting out of control. Curt says, “I watched the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen in my life kind of fade away into this ghost I never knew.” He went on to say that in 2018, he gave her an ultimatum, which was to get sober or he would be leaving with their children.
